my ps3 just stopped playing ps3 games. it still plays ps2 and dvd's? is there anything i can do????

my wife has just bought a playstation and i cant register on her machine to download games ive already downloaded on mine???

All Of A Sudden My Ps3 No Longer Reads Discs Or Has A Start Up Menu, During Start Up The Ps3 Turns On But No Sound Or Start Up Menu Just A Black Screen, I Have Checked All Cables, Im Not Using Hdmi And I Have Also Tried The System Reset But Still No Luck, Can Somebody Anybody Please Help... Ive Tried Everything, Thanks Alot

I am thinking of buying the PS3 for its blue-ray player and its internet connective. My questions are:

1. Can I use my Logitech 680 universal remote to control the PS3 when playing a DVD or must I buy the PS3 remote?

2. Does anyone know if there is software out there and available that can be loaded into the PS3 to make it a all region DVD player?

I'm trying to get my ps3 back on line, it wasnt disconnected or touched, it seems as if the internet connection dropped as my laptop lost its connection as well. I turned off the o2 wireless box and then back on after about 15mins, the laptop works fine but the ps3 wont pick up the connection. Ive been through the setup so many times but still i either get the error code above or i get a time out/fail on my ip address or i get another error code 80130132?? Can anyone help me reconnect please!!!!!!...
