HD DVD Has Cancer, A Heart Condition And No Limbs Left, Die Now Or Live The Next 5 Months You Have Left In Pain

Sales of blu-ray that i found personaly were between 86-92% so basicly say 88% is correct sales.

and for you worms that say ooo thats cuz of ps3.... i hate to tell you this. this does not include ps3 or xbox 360 just blu-ray players

Its definitely fighting a losing battle. Also i`ve noticed more and more TV adverts for new DVDs are also advertising the Blu-Ray format aswell.

software sales (Blu-ray disks) are expected in excess of 85% after may when WB comes on board. The only reason i see them still fighing is cuz they think microsoft is behind them.

microsoft is behind them selves they dont want either of the formats to win the are a firm supporter of streaming an amazing 720p to your pc ! I know you all will love that.

Can you imagine steaming 1080i/1080p :S Hint: Load a week in advance.

Cant wait for blu-ray burners now getting fed up of dvd dual layers been so frigging small.

TBH i want all of those films to die out because they betrayed us :P let universal suffer !

The is rumour from inside information from toshiba and Hd DVD camp that toshiba are giving up and going to throw in the towel within the next few weeks.

Toshiba have not confirmed but they have not said "We are not going to throw in the towel"

somebody should kick hd-dvd just to finish it off, then everyone will want blu-ray and microsoft will go hide in a corner holding the last hd-dvd in exsistance

Feel sorry for all those dumbasses that bought hd dvd tbh cuz we all knew blu-ray would win but they hoped it was gonna be a repeat with vhs beating betamax , vhs was really bad quality compared to sony's beta so the media used it for years.

But this time the better format won even though its more expencive, just waiting for all the HD dvd fan boys to start up on their forums especialy the ones with you tube videos "Why HD DVD Is better"

Just only buy ps3 as a blu-ray player even if the blu-ray player inside is a load of shit, its practicaly the only player that can update to the latest blu-ray profiles, so if you want to watch movies in future you will need to be able to update. With standerd blu-ray players i guess you could put software on a disk and run it in your blu-ray player to update it cuz thats what you do with dvd players.

But if toshiba and microsoft wonna loosse a couple more 100 million dollars fighting a loosing battle im glad

Toshiba's shares went up last night due to reports meaning that they everyone is expecting them to drop it.

Shares went up because in the past toshiba have kept fighting a loosing battle for decades and lost lots of money, therefore the company value when down. Lately the companys value has been going down because of failure in HD DVD but since there is inside sources saying its going to be droped, looks like toshiba might save alot of money and start making money. Therefor shares go up. TBH i should have invested in toshiba in the middle of the way could have seen a 5-10% return :P.
