Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
If you don't like Pokemon then get the hell out of here, haha! I can tell you one thing, I hate the anime/show, but the games are nifty rpg's that make more money than you could ever imagine. But The real reason I made this thread was so you can tell me your accounts number/name so then my friend can verse you online. I don't have the game yet, but I'm planning on getting it.

i loved pokemon for my gameboy colour, i had and completed, red, blue, yellow, trading card game and pinball... i was that big a fan...
but the extra 100 kinda put me off so i never got around to getting silver and gold etc.
i'm tempted to buy this new one but... it will be weird cause i don't know any of the 151-251 pokemon, i'll be like, 'what's that? is it good? this better not be a baby magikarp or anything like that.... '
is it easy to get to know the new pokemon just through the game? i dont want to be looking through guides and stuff, spoils the game.
or will it be too much for me to handle?

Yea just buy it and play you will catch on like nothing. It's like instantly in your brain who is what and what hurts what, you know what I mean. The guides are a waste of money, their only use is to find hidden items and sh*t. But it should be no problem learning the new pokemon. They pop up every 5 seconds, haha!

I think it's better if you haven't played any of the recent (of even GS) Pokemon since the game will be much fresher with all the new changes. I really love GS, but I didn't really get into RS, but DP is still too much of the same for me.
I think it is worth getting since a lot more people have DS, you don't have to fuss over cables and you can also trade and battle online.

I recently got a Nintendo DS Lite, but I haven't gotten the new Pokemon yet. I plan on getting it eventually, but I'm probably going to feel a little weird going into the store and asking for Pokemon since it's considered a childish game.
