Counterstrike
Anybody know where I can download it for free?? Cos I have Half- Life 2 my old Xbox and don't see why I should have to buy it again on PC just to play Counterstrike.

No you can just by CS:S from steam fairly cheap...though Day of Defeat Source is better.

Yeah, but Counterstrike is the most popular online shooter in the world, so your opinion stands in the minority. And DoD probably has way less mediocre players and mostly experts, whereas, with the sheer amount of people playing Counterstrike there must be some amatuerish players. But I'll see.

Actually Call of Duty 2 multiplayer is more popular but you will get ****ing owned sideways on CS:S. |

No. The pros played CS1.6 which was a lot harder than CS:S so when they came to play CS:S they owned. There will be a handful of noobs yeah but don't expect to get positive kill/death ratios for a few months at least.
