I think that the ps3 is better because of the graphics and the games and that the ps3 has blu ray tech and that the 360 does not.

I disagree and my long hours of boredom have shown me the light: Xbox 360 is the superior of the two, but PS3 has the potential to be better.

Emphasis on the word potential.

yeah but what do you expect mee. the console has had a whole years advantage. the ps3 will show its potential in the upcoming months i'm sure of it. MGS4 for example could only appear on the ps3 with that kind of quality i truely believe. it would be a seriously dumbed down version if it was on the 360. thats just my opinion. what do you think?

Well rob yeah I would have said the same thing if he had said he thought the 360 was better because my opinion on the matter is unbaised and works both ways.

Yes but it's games like Resistance that are simply proving what Xbots have been screaming all along: PS3 is hype and nothing more. Graphically gears ****ing creamed Resistance sideways, yet they both started development at the same time and were released at roughly the same time. I know the potential is there for PS3 to do a lot better than 360 but it's a simple matter of Sony realising that potential. And no, I don't think MGS4 would be that dumbed down. Apparantly, the only reason Kojima is using a 50GB disk is because he wants uncompressed audio for perfect audio quality. Compressing that audio down wouldn't affect the 360 version because about .1% of the world's population has the equipment capable of telling the difference between uncompressed lossless audio and compressed audio.

yes but this game has been built specifically to take advantage of the cell processor. i understand what you mean by realising the potential but sooner or later they will coz they need to

haze it going to suck balls on the 360...plain and simple...and mgs4 on the box will have the same outcome...get it through your head the 360 is a failure!!! hahahahahaha

Seriously how is it going to suck? To be honest im a ps3 fanboy but even i know that the 360 is owning ps3 at the moment ps3 wont be good until late next year. By then microsoft will probally have a better console out. And i thought id just say graphics on the 360 are better than ps3.

the graphics aren't better. if ur referring to ports then what do you expect. name one game at 360s launch that looked better than any launch title the ps3 had to offer. there isn't even one and everyone would probably agree with me. the cell processor is far superior than that shit inside the 360. you know that shit that keeps breaking and microsoft replacing every minute of the day. dude saying shit like that u are guaranteed to get alot of citicism and are guaranteed to get banned again.

rolf!!! get banned for stating my opinion? **** no. do you even know why i was banned in the first place? probally not. i wasnt talking about the launch games on both consoles im on about now. and dont give me that urgghhh but the 360 been out for like 2 years and ps3 has been out for 5 months. i dont care i think the graphics are better now and i think microsft will always have the edge over sony...see the thing that microsoft have that sony dont is $$$$. Sony have alot but microsft have alot more so they can keep making better things and like the online store much better than ours i could go on all day but i cant be bothered because im about to watch liverpool hopefully beat pourtsmouth.

alright man whatever. you're entitled to ur own opinion. in the end we'll see who wins. MGS4 looks much better than gears of war. watch the trailer in the gaming section of this forum for proof

And the 360 being launched a year before the ps3 is as much a negative factor as a positive one. By the time PS3 was out, game devs already had experience in coding this gens games because they had a year working with 360. Gears > Resistance graphically and thats a fact.

No it's not. What keeps breaking is the GPU and Cell, a CPU, can't render graphics anywhere near as fast as the 360s GPU.

mege i ain't arguing or anything. but the graphics are better if developers put the effort in to make it look better. oblivion looked better on the ps3 because time was spent on it to make it look better and mgs4 looks more realistic than gears of war
