Not too sure on XP.

Try this:

start -> run -> cmd -> enter

once the DOS window opens type in: format c:

you used to be able to do it really easily on Windows 9X/2000 through DOS but I have no idea about how to get into DOS on XP.

no all you have to do is put your windows cd in to your pc drive then restart the pc OFF OF THE "CD" then from there you can run dos and reformat or jsut reinstall windows and reformat during hte install. but you cant reformat if your running the pc off the hdd. I've hade to do mine 4 time already this way thanks to a friend that cant stop looking at porn when hes over

no not realy cause over time you'll still collect a ton of shit i only did it thanks to my friend looking at porn and my pc was bout to die cause of the dam virus. a good way to improve performance is to dayly use anitvrius and a anit spyware scan and more than one never hurts and watch what website you go to and so on

You'd be better off running a AV program, a couple of anti-spyware programs, getting the hard drive to around 60% full if it's over that, making sure your page file can go up to twice the size of your ram and then completely defragging your HDD.

Porn ****s up your comp. That's why it's better to stream it rather than download it.
