Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls,
I write this with a heavy heart and know that I will come in for some well deserved stick. Today myself and my partner realised a dream when we got the yes to buying a house. We are getting one that is already made up the way I want it and I will finally get a private game room so no more of my kids can knock the sensor bar of my wii from the tv or try to destroy my PS3. However for the forseeable future I will not be able to have access to any sort of broadband connection.... sniff. This means that I can't join friends in deathmatches on Resistence or get the latest firmware updates or even join in the topics on this lovely forum. But the kicker is, I will NOT be able to join all of us who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of HOME. You guys will be lapping up what is the greatest idea in console history and I will be sadly sitting in my lavish new game room wondering what the hell is happening out here in cyber world. As much as I am looking forward to my own house and finally settling down with my partner and two kids, I was also looking forward to continue my exposure to everything gaming on-line. If and when I do get broadband back I will be so far behind but look forward to what will be waiting. Until the moment I turn the connection off for the last time I will cherish every moment that I have left. Thanks. Be kind.

Sorry to hear this.Ps3 owners are like family and the internet our living rooms.But hey figure it out,get wireless or 3g its pretty cheap.Keep it real and dont let your kids knock over your ps3.Rather have them use the WII for batting practice>joke>

Cheers mate. The reason I won't have the internet is to cut back on what the missus calls "unneccesary items". This also includes my SKY subscription. No FOOTBALL!!!! No MAN UTD!!!!! HELP!!!!!!

Hey Smithy. You better believe this is all insane. However I have not married her yet but am thinking of putting in some insurances on the proposal like sky tv back but with the hd box or just the broadband. I'm torn now as I want both for different reasons. Sky so I can actually watch decent tv and broadband so I can get HOME and keep firmware on my ps3 and psp up to date etc etc.

i would go with the sky man........

you can allways play PS3 on your own or with some mates........but the sky is the most important! think of sky sports! 92 games this coming season and not ONE is a PPV game!....DON'T THROW AWAY SKYYY =[ you can also get all the other shitty channels and the cheap porn on 906 lol

ohhh no good man....but maybe you can do what smithy says and keep sky because you can always play your games (you don't need online-it is nice though) but you can't always watch that game...its only on once

but congrats on the house and the girl and the move to settle down!

ive had the same prob but am finally back online after over a month with out it!! its faster now aswell!! yippee!!!
