Hey man, it's been a few days. How is the beta? Does it play as well as it looks on the tv or on the net?

couldn't get into it....the download took forever and then it was all messed up...sad moment so i gave up

That sucks. Saw the specs needed for running the game and apparently you don't have to have a top spec pc. Will not get the full graphical output but nice to know it will run smoothly on a regular pc or laptop.

Did you never play Command and Conquer? If you like them then you may like this. The story is good and the battles in single player and multiplayer will have you playing for hours. Was reading comments about the beta and one guy said if you were going to have a team battle on-line you need to put aside about 4 hours. Thats how involving the game seems to be.

yeah i did play games of that nature, i think star craft was one of them?
i never really got in to those types of game! im more of an fps man!

Well then stick with what you prefer. Thats what I say. Or if your looking for something new and exciting to play give Conflict a try. Will be getting it around xmas time myself. Can't wait. Sure, we have some excellent fps coming our way on PS3 so I would go with them first man.

i would like to try conflict but i only have a laptop wich def would not play it even at low settings!

hey yoda i used to play the old school command and conquer...loved that game....right now i play a lot of company of heros...got the whole rts based gameplay but with sweet graphics and completly distructible maps...way freaking cool

Hey Cross. Old school C&C rocked. Still have the original two myself and still get the same enjoyment from them now as I did when I first bought them. Never thought of buying Company of Heroes. Is there online battles and what're they like?

i haven't played it online yet because i suck at it...i just beat the game on easy mode and it took forever....the maps are hudge and the enemy kept on flanking my position and kicking my ass...it took a while to learn the crap but its cool i'm going back through it on the medium mode...but your guys (like infintry) are actually smart...if the are getting shot at they run for cover and crap like that...its got all kinds of features...its like an upgraded C&C that is why i like it soo much and haven't thrown it away because it pisses me off that it is soo hard lol or chucked the disc across the room
