But messing with the Hard Drive voids the warrenty....only bad thing about it so if you do mess with it don't drop it soon after lol.

hey, changing the Hard Drive is easy, just follow a easy step guide, and your done! But if you don't know anything about Computing/Modding, Then I got Some advice
1) Get someone that can and you can trust- Don't get anyone cocky.
2) Hire like them PC people. The should help.
3) Leave it the way it is- It's just as good alone.

But even just changing it voids it and I hear Sony is attempting to make a 200 gig PS3, doubtful but cool if it will happen.

Just so you know... I know for a fact that replacing the hard drive doesn't affect your warranty as long as you use one of the same specification as the one already in your PS3. So basically if you get a 2 1/2 inch laptop drive operating at 5400 rpm and you follow the guidelines that Sony set then your warranty will stay intact. 
EDIT: Obviously I'm talking of the UK model here, I have no idea if it's the same for US ones but I assume it'd be the same across all territories.

I like your style. The only reason i believe they come out with the "Elite" is because they got scared of what PS3 was goin to do to them. Or should i say they got scared the PS3 was going to BLOW them out of the water. And anyone could have bought a 120GB hard drive for their ps3 the DAY it came out. LOL
