'Halo 3 sold week early' - Argos & tesco to blame
''xbox fans got hold of one of the most wanted game ever a week EARLY - due to tesco and argos bundles. Halo 3 is being launched at celeb filled parties worldwide on tuesday. But plot spoilers have allready filled the internet after UK stores put it on the shelves this week. Gaming experts likened the gaffe to shops handing over copies of harry potter early. Micrsoft, which owns the rights to the halo trilogy, will be furious. The computer giant had gone to extrordinary lenghts to keep the final game's content secret. But the blooper delighted fans who managed to get thier hands on the £40 copy. Mike oldman, 26, of bath, traded in his entire xbox collection for a halo 3 copy sold by argos. He tracked it down on eBay befor catching a train to wales to pick it up. He said yesturday: '' it was the best deal i've ever done. ''It's a brilliant game - out of this world''
Argos apologise and blamed an ''administrative'' mistake. Tesco said: ''it was an error, for which we apologise.'' Both retailers have removed all copies until wednesday.

not my fault argos and tesco ****ed up who am i to depreve a xbox fanboy of the halo 3 spoilers, they should have gone ps3

its sad spending your time going on every xbox forum just to spoil it for other people, half the people just wont read it and your doing it becasue they dont own a ps3?? thats also sad, so you expect no one to buy a 360? |
