i work for a ford dealership as a parts tech and i hate it when people come in for parts for these types of cars!

They don't really have all that much you can do to a ford focus, they lack aftermarket parts, I think.

Not to offend anyone or anything, this is just my opinion, but I think that Ford makes the shittiest cars on the market. Except for Crown Vic and Mustangs. And their trucks are good to IMO.

I AGREE 110% I am a huge mustang fan. Would love a Saleen or SVT Cobra

Yep. Ever since I first saw a Mustang when I was 5 years old (I'm 14 now) I was in love with them. I like pretty much all Mustangs, except the ones from the early 70's to the late 90's. My current favorite is the 08 G.T.500KR

the escort cosworth isnt a chav car, in its day it was awsome, wen it was released in 1992 it was faster than any police car of that time. The focus ST is a chav car as its just shit, where as the escort was the icon in its day

brits have had their fair share of cool cars, not as good as it used to be tho, germans seem to be pumping out the best these days in my opinion

The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was a good car, even though it's styling was way over the top. This was mainly down to the fact it wasn't based on the Escort of the time, but a shortened Sierra Cosworth chassis and running gear. A decent platform to begin with.

The Focus ST is a decent car, though it is becoming rather over popular. No where near as common as Impreza's though. It handles brilliantly and the 2.5l, 5-cylinder turbo engine makes a lovely sound, especially as it came from a Volvo :P Many people rate this Ford higher than the Golf GTi in terms of enjoyment. If I was getting a car in this class though, I'd go Japanese and get an ek9 Civic Type R (the B16 186hp one) or perhaps a DC5 Integra. Though for the price of that, I could get an s2000, which I'd prefer.

As for other Fords, the current Mustangs aren't the best IMO. The Rosch versions are some of the only proper sorted ones, handling AND power wise, though I do respect the speed of many of the other souped up ones like the GT500. Though for the same money, you could have the proper 60's Bullitt Mustang GT390 Fastback. Of course, you can't mention Ford without mentioning the GT40 or GT, which are amazingly good looking cars.

now im not a fan of the GT never have been just my opinion really, the Focus ST is ok good mate has one and its ok to drive but you get much torque steer, raced my r33 gtr against it muwahaha
The cossie was an awsome car in 1992 nothing reall kept up with it in the UK apart from maybe the NSX but that was about 40k more expensive when it was released.

Yes nightcougar the Germans are putting out some of the better cars with the likes of the M5 and the Audi RS4 the the Merc AMG division

A4's are nice but the RS4 is in a league of its own, well and truely owning the new M3
