Well, my cousins are getting the Xbox 360, I tried to persuade them that its rubbish, but since my cousin is a big bloke thats in year 11, I didn't even bothered. But one thing that he keeps mentioning is them "Xbox Live cards" and that its cheaper.
Well, all I said about the cards is that he needs to keep buying it and it all adds up in the end.
And the "Cheap" remark, well I'm guessing that my cousin is saying that the 360 is a cheaper version of the PS3. Well, thats what its sounds like.
Nice explanation Mege, got to admit, you do tend to have a soft side to the 360. I'm not saying your a softie, but you defend the 360 while your on a PS3 forum, also considering that your a Nintendo fanboy (or atleast that I think of it).
Anyway, about the video, yeah it's Okay, but people have their own views about consoles, which I care less.

Ok mege you want facts? Iv done some research and here is facts::
ROUND 1: Price
Xbox starts off cheaper but once you add up the HD DVD (£160) and wireless (£80) making it equivilent to ps3 the price jumps to £510 wich is more than the ps3 wich can be picked up now for under £300
This round is a draw because 360 starts off cheaper but with all the add ons it exeeds the ps3 price.
Round 2:::Graphics
The Ps3 has only been out for under a year and even less in europe but it has already caught up with the 360 graphics and is starting to outshine them..The 360 has a limted which has been reached whereas Ps3 has not even been close to its limit yet and has a very high potential also the Ps3 can output in true HD 1080p wheres 360 cant handle this and if it tried it would catch fire....This round goes to Ps3.
Round 3: nline
Online fpr Ps3 ia very underated, you get a great store with great titles most weeks and great demos, the store is showing signs if getting even better.
XBL is £40 a year and psn is free and in my opinion just as good.
This round goes to Ps3
Round 4: Specs
The Ps3 has a 7 SPU Cell Processor running at around 3.2 Gh'z 256mb XDR RAM and 256Mb VRAM running at 550mhz
Tne 360 has a 3 core emotion processor running at about 3.2ghz and 512 DDR2 RAM shared between the CPU and the GPU.
This means that sometimes the computer may require 381mb but the GPU can only access
128mb but on the ps3 both are imited to 256mb.
Round 4::: Looks
They are both big and heavy but it goes to 360 becase the ps3 gets covered in fingermarks with its gloss efeect.
Round 5:: Games
360 has been out much longer so obviously it has more games, its a question of do you want to play new advanced games or older toned down games wich have been out long? you decide this rounf.
Round 6::: Controller
I like ps3's controller it isnt complicated its simple has a nice feature for games (sixaxis) and is easy to pick up also its light and is wireless, 360's is complicated has a big battery pack on the back and will cost you hundreds of pounds to buy batterys. PS£ wins
Round 6::: Overall
Overall the ps3 is the future of gaming mostly because of the blu-ray wich will allow devs to make games much longer and better graphiclly unlike the 360 HDDVD wich will hold it back from getting better. Also the 360 has a high faliure rate and kills people if you want a console that doesnt fail or kill ou get ps3.

Thats funny because I have a 360 and I don't have an HD DVD player or a wireless adapter. Are you sure Microsoft are forcing people to buy those? Because I'm pretty sure they're not especially as no-one gives a flying **** about the next gen movies formats.

No it isn't and the 360s graphical potential is far from reached. PS3 has nothing to rival stuff like Gears of War or PGR4 so gtfo. Like I said before, 360 gets free x4 AA on EVERY game, whereas most PS3 gaes have no AA whatsoever and are full of shitty jaggies.

No it doesn't. PSN is alright but the XBL store is much better and has more choice. The unified friends list is a ****ing great bonus too. The only advantages of PSN are dedicated game servers and that its free.

The unified RAM is far superior to the dedicated ram. Ask anyone with half a clue about computer components, specifically those found in consoles and they'll agree with me.
