1080p
does anyone have a full 1080p tv if yes, is it really necessary to get because iam looking in getting full a 1080p LCD, ( if there is a thread like this allready well sorry)

no it's not....1080i is good enough....even 720p lol......it's not a huuuuuuuuge difference. save money and get the 1080i hdtv...no need to spend extra.

What sort of TV are you looking into, size etc?

I am considering the Samsung M87 in either 37 or 40, they have got rave reviews in the AV forum.

yes if you are looking to get your first hdtv now a days. go with the full 1080p. because soon everything is going to be converted into that. even hd television.

anything less than 50 inches your never going to be able to tell the differnce between 1080p and 720p. Unless the 720p monitor sucks, and what your going to pay for the mediocre 1080 the 720 will prob be better.

I have a 42 in 1080i plasma. I don't think I am getting the hidef quality out of the ps3 ? Does anybody know if 1080i and 1080p are compatable?
