high def optoma projector onto 110 inch screen with everything in room next to it. Bluetooth goes through concrete walls perfectly. Only problem is, I do not want to go through the effort of running an HDMI through the ceiling again.

IF I were to have a PS3 now, it would either be connected to a small matsui television in my room, or a panasonic dont know the size in my living room.

However, there is this Bush HD LCD on sale in Argos for £399 (32")

Maybe I will get that in the future.

£400 for a HDTV? Not bad at all!! I'm considering a 32inch Sony Bravia LCD HDTV (Gotta keep the Sony vibe going). Not got a HDTV yet and won't for March 23rd, but hopefully soon after.....

I have 2 Sony KDS XBR1 R50 1080p HDTVs, one in my bedroom and one in my livingroom. I have my PS3 wired to the one in my bedroom right now, but am hoping to get a HDMI hub (splitter) and feed the PS3 signal to both TVs, so I can play in either room.

However i have a panasonic CD/DVD player with 5.1 surround. I am a bit confused about a digital optical cable for my PS i have a 43" pioneer plasma tv which supports an optical cable but whats the difference to the sound i get through it when i set my CD/DVD player to AUX like i do now on my PS2, i completely realise its probarbly a dumb ass question but bit of a layman on all thiis kind of stuff!! would appreciate some advice please

Its quite simple, if you hook ur optical to the TV you'll get a "simulated" surround sound through the TV speakers (good choice if u dont have a 5.1 system) and if you hook the optical to your CD/DVD AUX then you'll get de real 5.1 surround sound from that system speakers.

BTW my config is in my signature, Im planning to go 7.1 with another SONY to keep my brand loyalty

alright fellas, at the mo i'm using my 24" Benq monitor (1080p through hdmi) until they release a 1080p tv in a smaller size or i get a bigger place whichever comes first.

i'm just starting to build a 7.1 surround sound system using the sony strda1200esb AV receiver (i'll leave a link at the bottom, dunno if they're allowed though) and i was wondering if i can also plug my pc into this receiver and switch between what the speakers play, the PS3 or the PC. is this possible or do i have to get 2 systems?
