What type of display will you be hooking the PS3 upto?
I'll be most likely hooking it upto a 42" HDTV display. Still need to figure out a good surround sound system though.

What kind of setup do you guys have?

Here's mine...60" Sony Grand Wega...i just hooked up my z5500 via optical digital for shits and giggles; however, i'm still up in the air of what surround system i really want.

Well, I dont have a ps3 yet, but I am ready for it. Right now I have a samsung ln-s4696d full 1080pHDTV and Harman kardon avr340 full 7.1 with velodyne dps12 and 4 polk monitor 40's, 2 monitor 50's and a cs1 for my center channel.
Wires are hidden now and I made a wall mount on the cabinet. I also flashed the TV to allow recording directly to a usb hard drive.

I definately recommend lcd, It takes a little getting used to compared to dlp or lcd projection, but works great. The hd picture is phenominal, regular tv signal sux though.
