Surround sound (cheap, very cheap)
Good day, i am thinking of getting a surround sound system. I have seen this in Argos, but its really cheap. Is it even worth getting, i don't really have any knowledge about surround sound, thanks in advance.

its prob crap quality and not v powerful, u get wat u pay for in terms of quality, unlike with microsoft

thanks young men, i think i will leave it then. Btw there is a good system on Argos i thinks its Acoustic solutions and the cost 79.99, very nice for the price check it out.

u have to be careful though cause i cant use my surround sound with my ps3 yet cause im using HD and surround sound has no HD input (it is 2 years old)so i need an amplifer that has HDMI inputs to give me surround sound

If you’re looking for cheap surround sound look at some of the Logitech 5.1 systems with optical in. (use the optical from your ps3)
Most Logitech stuff is THX Dolby etc.
It’s hard to find good speakers without paying an arm and a leg.
I suggest optical because the only other way is have HDMI go through your TV or receiver and then output it from the TV/receiver. The receiver is added cost to your solution too. I would go straight to the Speakers unless I had a nice receiver.
