All A/V Supergeeks.....I Need Your Help Please!
Alright, I would be greatly appreciative of anyone who can take the time to help me get my TV home entertainment system woes fixed.
I currently have an XBox 360, PS3, & HD Cable box hooked up to my TV & Bose 321 system.
I am trying to figure out how to get the best sound out of all the systems combined and so I went out and got an optical audio cable (since it seems to be the best audio input option for my Bose system). I currently have all of the video inputs from the components running into the TV and all of the audio inputs split and go into the Bose.
So basically, when I want to watch cable, I have to change the TV input channel and then the Bose input channel. Such is the case with the PS3 and XBox. This is very cumbersome and I'm guessing only the PS3 (using the optical cable) is getting the surround sound benefit.
Is there a way to make all the A/V inputs go into the TV and then utilize the optical cable to send the sound to the Bose 321? I know this is a tough question, so again.....any help is appreciated.
