DVD Upscaling on PS3
I have my PS3 hooked up to the TV with HDMI and to my HT amp via optical. I wondered if anyone has used the DVD upscaling feature and whether it gave any tangible results. Although my TV is 1080p for HDTV broadcasts the max input signal it will accept is 1080i. Will I see any difference? I set the upscaling to normal in the settings on Terminator 2 (the THX remastered edition) and didn't notice any change. Is that the correct upscaling option?

The ps3 can only upscale so much, the effects are barely visible if visible at all, some people see the changes more than others
