Capcom has today announced that the beautiful but deadly CEO of Tricell, Ms. Excella Gionne, will be featured as one of the playable characters in the forthcoming Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition’s new Mercenaries Reunion Mode. And just to whet your appetite even further, they’ve released some cool artwork and stunning screenshots featuring Ms. Gionne in action. Capcom has also released some fresh information and screenshots from the second downloadable episode, Desperate Escape, featuring Jill Valentine and Josh Stone showing off some new moves, with Josh now being able to tackle Majini to the ground and elbow drop injured Majini, and Jill having the power to jump on a Majini’s back and twist its neck. Nice!

Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (including The Mercenaries Reunion Mode and downloadable episodes Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape) will be released on a single Blu-ray disc for PS3 on March 9^th for $49.99. Desperate Escape is released on March 4^th as downloadable content on the PlayStation Network for $4.99.
