Bethesda Softworks has today announced Fallout: New Vegas for the PS3 for fall 2010. Yep, you heard right, this is not another downloadable episode, this is the full sequel to the fantastic Fallout 3, 2008 Game of the Year. The game is currently in development at Obsidan Entertainment, and sees the marriage made in heaven of the uncompromising Fallout universe and Vegas! According to Bethesda, Fallout: New Vegas “takes all the action, humor, and post-apocalyptic grime and grit of this legendary series, and raises the stakes.”

And this is the overview of the new game, as written in Fallout-speak, from the official Fallout website, which avid fans will simply lap up!:
