Hunted: The Demon’s Forge Conjured Up For PS3
Maura S

Bethesda Softworks has today announced Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, a third-person co-op fantasy action game for PS3, PC and Xbox 360, which is currently in development at inXile Entertainment. inXile was founded in 2002 by Brian Fargo, whose impressive track record includes the creation of such renowned franchises as Baldur’s Gate, Fallout, and The Bard’s Tale, and who will be overseeing Hunted’s development, alongside game director Michael “Maxx” Kaufman (Kingpin, Life of Crime, Redneck Rampage, Return to Castle Wolfenstein) from Gray Matter.

In the game, which is set in a dark, gruesome, fantasy world, you and your partner are pitted against waves of vicious enemies, playing as either E’lara, a ranged-weapon expert, or Caddoc, a master swordsman. Using a variety of weapons, spells and cover tactics, players must battle their way through perilous dungeons, overgrown ruins, and ramshackle towns, as well as complete co-op-based puzzles. Here’s what Brian Fargo has to say about his forthcoming opus:

“We are thrilled to be working with Bethesda Softworks on this upcoming release that takes us back to our roots. Bethesda’s track record speaks for itself and the game we are developing for them is no exception.

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge’s release date is still TBA.
