Thought you folks might enjoy this, it’s Ted Price talking about Resistance 2 at DICE 2008. He talks it up a lot and goes into some detail on classes, play modes and weaponry. The idea of online co-op classes and stories sounds pretty cool and we don’t have much longer to wait, given it’s presently slated for a Fall 2008 release.

I’ll ignore the fact he refers to playing with a group of “guys”, I do wonder whether there will be the option of playable female characters this time around—I’m sure it will be another case of droning female narration.

On a side note regarding Resistance 2, Circuit City blogger Matt West has an interview with Insomniac designer Drew Murray in which he states “I can’t say much more about Resistance 2 than what was printed in Game Informer right now. I can tell you that we’ve planned a much bigger, much more ambitious game than we did for Resistance: Fall of Man, and the whole team is really excited about the amount of progress that’s already been made. We’re scheduled to have the entire single-player game built and running in rough form next week. We usually don’t get to that state until late spring or early summer, so this is going to give us a lot of time to analyze what’s working, change what we don’t like, and put an exceptional level of polish on Resistance 2.”

One last thing… Ted… some of us with vagina’s loved Resistance: Fall of Man… just for the record.
