Don't know where your planning on selling it other than EbaY...but if you got an ebay account then yes sell it for the price of a UK one and get a UK one.....i don't see the point having it imported anyway lol

Nobody is going to pay the full £425 for an Import console:

1) Because PlayStation 3 releases tomoro, so there is no point in buying a Hong Kong version when you can just go to the shop and buy a UK model and

2) PS3 is in full stock in most other regions. Again, why buy off Ebay, when they can go to a shop and buy the [region they are from] model.

...you might have to the lower the price = won't be able to afford UK model straight away

Wait...why don't you just keep your PS2 then?

Don't get rid of it.

Reasons?

Your PS3: Play PAL PS3 Games, seeing as its region free (although you would have to import Blu-Ray Movies if you want them, 'cus they are region encoded)

Your PS2: Play all your current PS2 games and UK DVD's...

...I know it would be a pain switching between PS2 and PS3...but if it saves you losing out on money then you might as well keep it.

Online should work just fine. Though the only problem may come from Home keeping people to localized servers. You might want to make a Euro PSN when the time comes for registration.

Apparently, when the PS3 was first released, it was both PS and PS2 graphics were attrocious.

However, SONY soon released a patch, which cleared up these problems.
