Ps3 - Firmware Upgrade?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to update the Firmware for
PS3?

I have downloaded the 1.60 Firmware update on my PC...
But now how do I get it into the PS3?
and what do I have to do with it?

Do I just burn it onto a CD? and stick it in
the PS3 and then the PS3 starts to upgrade?

Any help would be appreciated.

Save it in a memory stick or USB flash drive and plug it into your PS3...

Just wondering, what firmware do Eurolaunch PS3s have? I think my North American launch PS3 was 1.01 or something like that.

It was 1.50

The annoyance is I don't have online gaming... which sucks. For the price it came as you'd think it would be nice and easy. Might have to get a techy bloke to help me out over the summer when I play at home.

I reckon I will be famous for three months in the online world then disappear, therefore becoming legend

Ah the dreams of an art student!

The PS3 connects online pretty easily. It comes with everything and all you have to do is plug it in. It just gets more complicated with routers and campus connections. Then again, that should be easy as well since your college should have tech people to help students and staff.
