Compatible Games
Hi anyone I just want to find out do I need the 1.60 update to play PS2 games or not?? because my PS2 Need For Speed carbon is not working???

What firmware are you using? According to the official BC website, the game works with 1.5 and higher.

I have the 1.50 and with both: need for speed Carbon and most wanted it tells me that it is not compatible? why?

Yes it refuses to run! I put the disc in and then select the the Playtation2 format disc from the game menu. And then the screen flickers and then the PS3 menu appears again and tell me that the game is not Compatible.

I am very stupid I don't know the region of the games or the PS3 but I live in South Africa and bought everything here. Please HELP??

South Africa should be PAL territory.

Getting the same thing with Hitman: Blood Money. Guess they left out some compatibilty for now...
