Playstation 3 font copied?
Have anyone notice how similar Playstaion 3 font is to the Spiderman font?

I know Spiderman the movie is in some sort of way Sony's property.

Is this just coincidence? What do you think?

Yup I read an article in the Official UK PS mag and they mentioned the reasons for this. Apparently it had something to do with the curve of the PS3 body and it helps it to look more streamlined and not as bulky. I too hate the Spider Man movies. I own Spider Man 2 on UMD but that's only because I got it free when I registered my PSP.

It doesn't really matter. It looks good at the end of the day.

It isn't a coincidence. Spideman is a sony pictures movie, they hold the rights to spiderman so it is theirs to do what they wish with it. The spiderman font is very appealing to fans and as the films have done really well i suppose it was just a good idea to use the spiderman font.

I actually rather like the Spiderman films and most Sam Raimi stuff (Evil Dead, Darkman, etc). Also Kirsten Dunst is in Spiderman, another reason for me to like it

Never noticed the font thing before btw.

yeah, i quite like the spiderman films. as comic adaptations go, i'd say it was the best, apart from the very first Batman film before it turned into a vegas cabaret show. who does heath ledger think he is trying to take over from the jack nicholson, them some mighty big boots to fill!!!

Anyway ive gone off topic, i quite like the font, i quite like the spiderman movies and i definatley like kirsten dunst in the rain
