Hello all from the UK

I am very sorry to have to post this on here, but i was not getting much feed back on the tec section. This is what i wrote two days ago.
.
.
First of all Hi there, i have a new ps3 that i connected up yesterday. I have stumbeled across this PS3 forum and i hope you can advise me on a problem.
I have made a live on line account and the internet works well via wire less ect.
But every time i try to go on playstation on line live, after i have put in my pass word there is a pause while its conecting. Then after a few seconds the message, "the connection playstation@network has timed out". What!!!
Why is it doing this please? All the sign up details ect are there but its doing this.
Can anybody help please? Or am i forced to continue going on live with my Xbox 360
.
Any ways now for an update. Yesterday and today morning we could sign in live but then just before 12pm (i am in the UK) the game just disconects from live and the "timed out" notice comes up when we try to re conect. So it seems its only the morning time for a few hours that we are allowed to play live.
Is this because bigger countries get more live space than the UK?? What do you think dudes?...please

Thanks for you reply mate. Its not my server. I once again signed in this morning and again after a few hours it does not let me sign back in. Very supprised that i can get any answers as to why though. Seems that is a PS3 forum cant help then i guess there is little hope Maybe the UK Sony softwear is not up to much, supprise supprise Soft wear has always been there problem, i mean i bought a new MP3 Sony walkman when they first came out. Fantastic item but underdeveloped and rushed out sofwear. So that went on ebay Looks like the PS3 is going that way fast and i and my sons should stick to the X box live.

I got this reply when I reported it to them

Dear Mr. Nicholson,

Thank you for contacting Tiscali Customer Support.

I gather from your email that you are experiencing issues connecting to PlayStation 3 network during peak hours.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused and I request you to bear with us until our network engineers resolve this issue.

You can also visit the following link that will help you to check the update on this issue:

I'm with Namesco and I've always had a great service from them, consistent speeds/connection and the like. Plus decent customer service for once. Jus upgraded to an 8mb connection wi a 60 gig limit for £25 a month without a yearly contract.

My Dad's been goin on about this BE thing, which does look good if your in the right area for it. Apparently you can get up to a 25mb connection in some places and it's unlimited for £25.

Only reason I didn't do it is cause my current contract ends at the end of May, though I'm thinkin about it.
