hey i don't know how to hook up my psp to my ps3. i was told that you can use it for like another controller. well i tried to hook up my psp to it but i think you have to do it with an internet conection, is that true?

also can't i put the music thats on my ps3 onto the memory stick for my psp? can anyone help me with these items.

No, at least no games support this.

That's Remote Play, which allows you to access files on your PS3's hard drive from your PSP. Remote Play is wireless so you can connect using ad-hoc with the PSP connecting to the PS3 in the same room or you can do infrastructure via the internet.
