HD Problem.

Well... I set up my Ps3 with a HDMI cable at my friends house... but then I came home and now the component cables won't work! Blank screen... How do I get my Ps3 working again? The settings are on HDMI and now I can't change it back because it won't show up.

The only option is to take it back to your friends house, plug the ps3 in using the hdmi cable. Then change the settings back to scart connection. Then when you play it at home it will start working again.

OK here's what you do

1) Turn on your PS3 and make sure it is plugged in.
2) Wait about 1 minute then press left on the d-pad about 10 times
3) Press right on the d-pad once
4) press up about 10 times
5) Press down exactly 7 times then hit X
6) Hit X again
7) press down once for component d something/ twice for component s-video/three times for composite or scart
8) press right 4 times and press X
(this should do it)

Supposedly you can hold the power/reset button for a few seconds and it'll reboot with the proper output.

Or better still, hold down the power button for at least five seconds. This resets the PS3 to default display. Charlie you are right

This I know will definitely work since it even says about this in the manual.

Sorry Callmege I didn't realise it was a competition. You typed out more letters so you win, I concede
