Wired connection to router
Hi,


Need assistance; at present I have my PS3 wireless connected to my network. I have a crossover cat5 cable connected from my router to PS3 which doesn't give any connection. Should this be just a standard cat5 connection rather that crossover?

Also I'm going to install linux on the machine today and share network drives on my Windows PC with Samba. If the cable I mention above needs to be standard cat5 will this still be the case with linux?
