But $12,100? That's crazy!

Imagine the anger of the buyer is sony were to launch a 'Maserati Red' console.

EDIT: Eeew, just looked on the link. I don't like the red controllers with the black buttons, looks horrible. It's like the pink ps2 controllers...pink and black dont go lol

LoL i was looking at the feedback of th guy who bought it and he had previously bought a costom painted white ps3 for like $1500.00

hmmm i think it would be preety easy to get mine panted the same color my school has a paint both in the auto shop class and i haved palyed alot in it i thought they made new case but painting it phh thats easy

Just slightly off topic,but did you know the black ps3 controller is see through,well to a degree anyway?If you hold it up to a light you can see the case is translucent,as is the shiny black cover on the console.If you shine a torch in through the vents at the end of the console you can see the light inside the unit.Just a worthless bit of info i thought i`d share with you all.lol

LOL, yea I noticed this.

I dont need to hold the controller up to the light really, just look closely at it and you can see like, all the connections.

I think it's pretty good like that! No see through for this red though, spray painted over the glory XD

both consoles were done by the same internet site ie: red and the white console, looks like a good way to make some money if ur good at spray painting.

Have you never seen a white PS3? When they came out with the first prototypes, there were 3 colors: white, black and silver.



I do agree that the red one is fugley. Me no likey. I think I should just take one to a paint booth and paint it forest green or something. I bet it'd go for $20,000, the way this guy's been doing.
