Imported PS3's connect to the internet?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum
so..HI!

umm, I live in Australia, and I'm really thinking of importing a ps3. I know games are region free, and I don't mind bluray movies being region locked coz I'll probably be importing the movies from the same regoin anyway (australia is just too damn expensive) anyway, the only thing stopping me right now is that I'm not sure whether imported PS3's will allow me to connect to the australian network. So things like 'Home' when it comes out.

Anyone sure of this answer, please let me know asap, would be greatly appreciated

thanks alot!

It should be fine as long as you have an Australia PSN ID.

It's the login that you use to get online.... It should ask you this when you first connect to the internet. Try it.
