Is Rumble coming back? Settled in court.

I read in Gamepro that sony settled in court and is now able to bring the rumble feature back and it could happen with the new controllers. A lot of people seem to be missing the rumble feature. I don't miss it to much although I do like it. It doesn't bother me to much to not have it. I do think the six axis is cooler than Rumble. And in the future maybe they will use the six axis more. Just think about the next Resistance game. Omg! We know there is going to be another one because of the ending.... not to spoil it for anyone.

I have to be honest I was sceptical about sixaxis. That was until I got my hands on it. I now can say with 100% certainty that I don't miss the rumble one little bit. I'm pretty much sure I'm on my own here but I actually like the motion sensitivity. Resistance may only use very slightly but for me it adds another dimension to the game. I own 2 sixaxis controllers and even if Sony do release another version of sixaxis with rumble I wouldn't rush out to buy it. I'm used to not having it now and I'm very happy with the new controllers

It's certainly coming. Support for PS2 and PSone rumble accessories have been returned to a small number of games so it's only a matter of time before Sixaxis gets its share.

Yeah, I love the new controllers. I would buy the new rumble controller though but I only have one controller as of now and that would be my main controller. It said something in gamepro that it could make the controllers we have now useless in games. I don't think they should go that route. I think even if they do make the rumble ones you shouldn't force people who already bought the system to have them. Rumble isn't neccesary in a game. It's just a luxury. While six axis is neccesary in some games... like fall of man. If you didn't have it you wouldn't be able to get the aliens off of ya.

I don't really care either way. Its an OK feature but I wouldn't go buy a new controller just for rumble because to be honest I hardly notice the rumble when I'm playing games.

The problem is, rumble is important for some PS2 games. I was playing Shadow of the Colossus the other day and not feeling the hum of the rumble when your sword guides you to a colossus just takes away from the experience of the game.
