I heard this online and i was wondering if it was true. if it is,

sick ass. i just want littlebigplanet to be in this year and then im good, cuz pretty much everything else is coming out this year. but then again this could be mindless speculation originated from bathroom gossip but it is nice to look forward to a single date for sonys new online plan.

Yeah it will definitley be out this year. Maybe by October. Fingers crossed, but I'd prefer them to take their time and get it right.

i do have a lot of questions about home in general still. like for example what is the purpose of watching movies in the theatre if you can just watch them on the xmb? and how many areas will be available on launch and if there will be dlc? and how many diff types of apartments there are cuz ive only seen the one by the mountains and lake.

I guess it was unofficial at the time though.

Will it cost anything to get basic furnature like couches tvs and stuff like that cause I dont want to pay for stuff that has no real purpose...

There will be some free stuff and some "premium stuff". Also, some items will be unlocked when you purchase a new game and possibly when you get trophies.

I'm thinking that it's going to be like some kind of Pay Per View thing so it won't be on the XMB.

It's October. I already linked my source. Plus, Sony is also telling Home beta testers that it's also October.

Since (some of) you guys are in contact with people on the devolpment side of things that are actually asking you for thoughts on home , why not suggest this:

"Let users who know how use Max or Maya or whatever be able to build their own content for use exlusively in their own flat. Perhaps let them be able to give them away in home to their friends and possibly after registering with you and get your approval per item, give them a separate flat in the shopping district where users can sell off their own work.
4 billion people with ideas would surely bring forth ideas that some would like and what you did not think of... But at least consider letting people make their own models for their own flat"
