Home beta Trial
I'm on. Good old bro came good and boshed my details over to the correct people. Not sure if he did anything special but either way I have downloaded the software and am awaiting an e-mail saying i'm up and running. This was his reply to my question - 'can everyone see it and download just not use it.'

'You wouldn't have been able to see or download the Home beta trial from the store had I not sent your details on. The store (and everything to with PS network) is managed in Japan, and they have to be given PS network details by us so that when you log on, it's visible and available to download. Normal users can't see it. The second part is for our guys here, on the third floor, to add your PS network details to our Home servers (which are sitting in the States) so that when you try and join, it'll let you. That's the bit that hasn't happened yet, which is hardly surprising as all they tend to do is sit around and loudly break wind'

Will bosh an update on when I get online.

hi guys

I'm on it at the moment. I am walking around kitting out my apartment - its quite cool. And i've been to the cinema and am downloading a gow2 film/trailer. This is quality. Will be awesome when its finished

nah its fine - i just downloaded GOW film - took a little while but was worth it. And coz its on the hdd its there all the time now.
Got some pix i'll post tomorrow as they are on my phone

did you sign up for it? I assume so.
I didn't get an e-mail in the end - just tried it and it was ok. But if you cant see it on PSN then you haven't been successful apprently

Yeah, that is the question. i would love to get on the trial. Where/ how/ when/ who?

Seriously, though, i heard there was going to a beta test this month and as betas go I believe you have to be invited before you can join. Are you saying there is actually a place where one can apply for an invite?

i would truluy love to know where, if you wouldn't mind sharing...

Hi Guys

Well as far as I'm aware there were x amount of spaces available on the trial and about 100 times x amount of people who applied. I just gave my brother my details and he forwarded them on to the correct people in Japan for me. I guess it helped having the old inside info - though he did say I was lucky to get on it so I dont think he pulled any strings or anything.
Either way its quite good fun and I will post some pix i took last night when I get a chance.
And I twatted some random bod at bowling as well.
