Can we play ps3 online on a 64k speed(very slow broadband)internet connection?
I have an extremely slow connection n i was goin to buy the ps3...will the games work effectively online?

no......alot of lag i'm guessing. thats my problem aswell i think......or it minght not be. i duno. but i know if you have a slow internet connection then your online gaming will lag

I wouldn't touch online gaming with anything less than 512k and wouldn't really enjoy it with less than 1Mb.

the faster the better.
i know dail up sucks and all but get cable if you live in the usa mediacom isnt all that bade i get 1.2 MB down load and 600KB up

Guys the main problem is that i live in India and broadband is very costly here....ill have to shell out a lot of money and still won't be able to get a 512K connection...is playing a game equivalent to downloading something??? cause i can get a 1mb conn. but it will cost me by the amount i download......

Ah. Yes it will cost you money if you get that 1mb connection as just like downloading, data is sent back and forth. I'm not sure how much though...might be relatively little, might be a ton.

that sucks, i was on 1mb and it run well, but now on 6.5mb and its a dream come true, the only problems are if the game servers play up on you, but thats not often an issue

i don't know *sigh* i got past the part where it was asking for my router password or summit....now it wont go any further =/
i can't log onto the admin thing for the PC because i don't even have the password and aint allowed it....(****ing stupid huh?) so i can't really do anything, i can't even get my 360 on live because of the MTU =/ wtf????????
i so can't wait til i go to uni, get my own dorm room and get online there...
(is that possible? )

i imagine it is possible, shud just be a simp,e case of plug in and play, but i dunno bout internet at uni's to be honest or if they have any restrictions.
