Sad day
ok, I know this aint too relevant to the ps3 itself, but i do need some ideas from you guys.
The sad news is that after some cock ups with my service BT have cut me off, this totally blows, sure i have oblivion to keep me busy but from time to time i jus wanna crack rfom on and kick ass online. the worst part is that to join broadband with a company that doesnt fuk u about like bt i still need 2 pay up 2 bt and then get my line back.
anyway, now for the question, and its for all uk people, who is your broadband with, i wanna know costs, speeds, things they give u as part of the service,
i just wanna get an idea of who i can join next

free broadband...unlimited everything cept i can't get online lol

well with bt ur 1st bill is always huge cuz u do 2 months at a time plus all ur setup charges and so on, so i paid half, cuz it was too big a bill 2 pay in full, i call em and say i will pay at the end of may when i get paid, but before that time they cut me off,issue a final bill and tell me that i never arranged to pay at the end of may cuz my call hadnt been logged, i said i wud pay my final bill in 2 big payments to keep internet goin but they say im held To my year contract term, I need to pay that in full then start a new contract, meaning I’ll be paying for my broadband twice for a year, so I politely told them to fu*k off

lol it's allways good to be polite, seriously though, if you tell them that you can't pay in full then they should understand that. go with a company called maxbroadband. i'll tell you more when i get home.

yeah i seen it (lots of times) advertised in game mags (OXM OPN ect ect) big name mags...8megs it is or you can pay extra for 16meg or summit i duno. but i'll give you thier number when i get home.

im having probs aswell, i just moved house and theres a tag on the line which im having a nightmare to sort!! im going with sky broadband as i have sky so will only cost a tenner with a free netgear wireless router!! up to 16meg and unlimited usage. just have to sit and wait for them to sort out the tag!!!!

was looking at sky, but i dont watch much tv cuz there is jack shit on, then you have line rental and b.band costs and it adds up 2 too much for me when i only use the b.band really

yeah thats there fault the call was logged not yours how did you know the called need to be logged in the frist place you called said you would pay in 2 they said ok. if the tech support forgot to log the called then it falls on to them if thats there polices"sp" not yours i would call again and jsut tell them and see if you can get a new thing started and have what you have already paid for cary over on to this new deal and make sure the idot on the phone logs your call
also most contrats have a finaly few if you cut it off check into that i realy find it hard to belive there going to charge you for a hole year and if there are sue there ass for not logging your call then harrasment
also remember you cna sue for just about any thing these. The school my gf goes to forgot her pic in the year book we called the place that took her senoir pic and they confrimed that the pic WAS on the cd that went to the school. We called the school asking them they never got back to use till are lawyer called they recalled all the books and did a reprint vs gettting there ass sued

i did kick up a fuss about it, but it like ice skating up hill, the only way you can win these days is by recording all conversations and logging them yourself, which is wot i gonna do from now on
its only high prices for me smithy cuz i dont really use the tv or the phone, i dont see y i shud even pay a tv licence, dont even watch tv, just play games n watch movies, its crap, surely they can alter it so that they can just shut ur tv off if they want, leaving you to just play games n watch movies,that wud be cool
