I was looking at callmeges sales box thing and it made me think can the ps3 actually catch the wii? I no everyones debating about the ps3 vrs 360 but take some time to think about if the ps3 is able to catch the wii.

so many people brought the Wii just to look cool and see what it's all about, including me. I now wish i never purchased this shit machine....really

the only reason why the Wii has so many sales is because of stupid japan and thier weird people who like everything cartoony, small and weird...

i heard that they wont buy the 360 or PS3 because it's too big...WTF!!?!?!?

NexGen Wars doesn't have the true amounts sold, rather it is just estimates. Anyways nobody can predict that far into the future.

thanx smithy for lettin me no that it makes me feel better i chose the ps3 i had 300 bucks at the time i bought my ps3 and i split on the prce 50/50 with mom but i had second thoughts on getting it instead of the wii but that makes me feel a lil better haha and yea paint i guess ure right but it intrigied me so i thought id start a thread about it

Well I have a Wii and I think people will get tired of them soon. There are very few good games and there doesn't appear to be many more coming any time soon. The motion sensing gets old fast too. It really wasn't worth camping outside Walmart for 29 hours.

since uns both have wii's may you inform me i was told that the wii's graphics are that pf a ps2 or xbox is it true

Pretty much. It is capable of slightly better graphics than an Xbox. Zelda, which is probably the Wii game that has the best graphics is just a GC port with GC graphics.

Sometimes I think that I should really only bought the Wii and maybe the PS3. Right now, that big black son of a bitch the PS3 is getting the most playtime from me.

Anyway, no I don't think the PS3 can catch the Wii. The estimates made by Vgchartz and nexgenwars are accurate as of the end of the previous month as they are compiled from figures released by the NPD, Simple2000 etc. Though I can't say for sure, I would bet money on the Wii finishing this gen in first place with around 80 million units sold. I expect the PS3 will finish with a respectable and yet probably not deserved 40-50million and the 360 with a deserved 20-30 million.

TBH as long as the PS3 doesn't do a Dreamcast on me and is well supported I really don't care if it catches the Wii or not. All I know is that even now with so few games I am very happy with my PS3. I find it to be worth every penny of my hard earned £525. It's a fantastic machine. Just enjoy it for what it is and don't worry about the Wii.

evver nintendo system went strong then floped then strong then flop they hade fun games whne i was 6-8 but now i'm looking for a realy game

scoot you son of a bitch, i gotta agree. i've only got two games, no more no less (resistance & motorstorm) and i aint even got bored of them yet (not totally anyway) apart from killzone, resistance is the only game i've completed more than once..

and i'm hooked on motorstorm atm

the wii sells well because it is cheap and anybody can play it! its like the difference between playing for your local footie team or arsenal. you can play football for both but playing for arsenal is a much better experience!! lol

(ps3 = arsenal, wii = shitty local team)

oh and i have a wii
