this is excellent news for all ps3 owners. no games come out for ages and then finally they all come out at once. I truely belive that the ps3 will improve significantly in terms of sales. it was because of the software that they sold poorly. but now we don't need to worry about this now. the majority of the games should be good. about 100 will be on the ps store and the rest on blu ray disks. games like warhark, killzone 2 gran turismo 5 all exclusives can't wait

I think they sold poorly because of the price, not the game selection. Look at the Wii, it doesn't have many games and the ones it does have are shitty but it sells like crazy, because it is cheap.

yeah but if you are selling a console for #425 the price will need to be justified. a gamer will look at the price and then think is it worth it? they will then look at the games on the current consoles and go for the cheaper version. The wii hasn't been bought for games like call of duty and other hardcore games. it applies to non-games like children or old people. they buy it for games like wii sports and play because it is something new and keeps you active. i don't particularly like the wii and also feel that this time next year the wii will be outsold by the ps3 simply because people will get bored of the same old hand weaving. there is only so much you can do on it before you have enough. not the case on the ps3 though

oh yeah and how many will the 360 have by then? owell aslong as i get killzone, gta, fifa's and anything else decent..i'm not bothered

the 360 has been out for awhile and has no where near that many titles......and the ps3 would be one and a half and have that many titles.....360 has crap for games anyway....

but when you think about it those 380 games breakdown into, 60 already out, all the crappy ones coming that will be shit, sony 1st party (amazing) and psn games that look nice and are fun but overall shallow. i just want some more selection for games. When i get tired of resistance i go to oblivion, and when that tires i go back to motorstorm and returning once again to resistance...i need variety!!

no its not just a ps3 forum look under gaming chat where it says for discussion about xbox 360, wii, ps2, pc etc. look before you blast someone. and what was the hint?

Remember, 180 of these games will be PS store titles with the other 200 being retail titles. It doesn't seem a massive number to reach when you put it like that. However, I would be happy enough if Sony managed just half of what they promised.

hey i think 380 games by march is good...i mean how many of you even own 380 games...and there deffinatly will be variety within those games...i think it is a great start

i reckon, about 60% of those games that are going to be released (retail) will be any good..the rest will be shit..so don't get all excited just yet.
