and anyone else with ps3 knowledge!! haha.

Am i right in thinking that the psu on a PS3 is 110-240??..I've read and heard this many times on te web, but can't seem to find it anymore like sony is trying to hide it!? can anyone with a ps3 thats not from their territory confirm this please?!?..

I know games are region free so thats sweet.

the other thing is the ntsc part...I've had a friend bring his New Zealand Pal Machine over with a US version of fall of man and we played it no worries on my cheap tv,,,so that means its all good for ntsc then!?.. - do japanese/US machines come with different tv connections to pal ones?!?!

I'm in New Zealand and i can get a japanese machine for 2/3''s of the RRP - 795 instead of 1199....so im thinking bout snapping it up.

can someone please help me!! THANKS!!!!!!

Yes the US and Japanese ps3 both have universal power supplies of 100-240V
50-60Hz so its exactly the same, you shouldn't have any worries there mate but get a second opinion also.

i live in tha uk and i've got a 60g jap ps3 and apart from the enter button which is 0 instead of x on pal machines, everything is pretty much fine! that also include game demos, game downloads and firmware updates.

Are you using you're Japanese ps3 on HD?? I've heard that downloading demos and games from the pal store won't work on the japanese machine as it plays at 60hz minimum...you had problems with that?

Yes i'm using a 32" samsung hd-tv and i've downloaded game demos both on the pal and us psn and no problems watsoever!

I have a HK PS3 which is same as UK except its NTSC but plays PAL region free Dvd's. And is region A blu ray.

I didnt realise that the PAL version used X instead of O, i prefere using O anyway im used to it playing FF.
