Basically I see it like this on the gaming vs. girlfriend now that I'm older, have more experence and know what most women are really like when it comes down to it.
Pick the PS3. It's definitely going to be more reliable, more giving, and you don't have to worry about it being unfaithful.
Most women once you really get to know them it's all about them regardless...no matter what...at the end of the day.
Also, your PS3 won't get pissed off and feel neglected if you are busy and don't pay it attention to it for a while. It surely won't leave to get some "action" on the side on the internet for example when you are not around.
Plus, most women end up being black hole vortexes that suck the life out of you once the honeymoon period is over. They are never emotionally happy and make every male especially the one they "love" pay for how they feel constantly.
The PS3 just sits there waiting to please you and make you happy.
So if your woman is constantly giving you shit for playing the PS3 you can ignore her and carry on, in which case she find something else to play with and it most likely won't be video games, and you will most likely never find out. Women are sneaky and we don't know half the shit they are really up to.
You can give in to her...in which case you will be a doormat, she will see that about you...use it to her advantage every time she can...she won't respect you....you will be absolutely miserable...and she will find something else to play with on the side cause you aren't man enough for her...but you do help with the bills, treat her, and buy her stuff so she keeps you around...while she's being a complete sub to some grade A A-hole and loving every minute of it.
The thing is if you are a gamer and she isn't, and is constantly hounding you for even looking at your machine (I know there are lots of gamers out there with this problem) the truth is you've already lost...GAME OVER. This woman is going to make your life a living hell. You have two options here, either get out....or don't really give a damn about her, just use her for booty until she leaves your ass or until you find a woman that realizes loving to play video games doesn't mean you love her any less and in fact she should be relived cause you could be out there like a lot of other guys that have a woman or women and would be out there playing the field for more.
Bottom line if you find someone that is so insecure and so needy that they can't handle you playing video games, either kick her to the curb or don't take your relationship with them seriously...at all. Just enjoy the sex and don't get emotionally attached. Cause believe me..the video games are just the start. And you don't want a needy, shallow insecure woman around to ruin your life.
Long post, but I'm an older dude experienced enough about relationships to know the real pitfalls for us guys, and don't want to see some good young guys suffering over nothing...just cause their hobby is harmless video games.
