1. Is there any way to get information from the ps2 memory card onto the ps3?

2. Is there a way to play ps2 games online using the ps3 system??

to get ps3 saves onto ps3 u must buy a memory card adaptor that links ur ps3 memory card to the ps3 system. u must first create a ps2 memory card within the ps3 system. you should know how to do this
some ps2 games work on ps3 online. pro evo, for example, works online on the ps3

just to be a bit clearer...in order to create an eternal memory card for playstation 2 games just put the game in and load it up and it will ask you if you want to create one (the easy way) or just click on the memory card icon under games and make one there
