Read about this on the official forums. Funny really how this Parallel Processing Corp didn't speak up when Sony first announced detailed specs of the PS3 back in 2005. They only show up now that the PS3 is taking off. Another company trying to muscle in on Sony and trying to get some money methinks. Really, all these lawsuits are really annoying. I don't think it's anything to worry about though.

I like the way they demand the "impounding and destruction" of all Sony products that infringe this copyright. A quick word of advice to Parallel Processing Corp: Try taking my PS3 off me and you'll be filing a lawsuit against me for murder!!

Don't worry about it. It just seems to be a trend these days, especially in America. Can't do anything these days without the risk of a lawsuit against you. I hope it goes tits up for them and Sony issue a counter claim for damages and make this shitty PPC company go bust.

The biggest drawback to this is that Xbots will be loving it!!


EDIT: What is really surprising is that despite the fact I heard about this 2 days ago I still haven't seen anything of it on the big sites Gamespot and IGN. Strange that....

It's a conspiracy. Secretly Microsoft paid PPC to file a complaint because they know the PS3 is a huge threat to 360 and they're now getting worried. It's the truth I tells ya!!

It is all bull. It's also true that as soon as the ps3 takes off proper and 360 is beginning to fail, all these law-suits start popping up claiming Sony stole this and that. How sad MS must be to secretly stir up all this trouble.
