PS3 outsold 360 last week by 14k
Tee Hee.
It's growing, slowly but surely. It's starting to outsell the 360 on near enough a weekly basis now GOODIE!!!
Want some linkage to prove I'm not making it up? Oh go on then, just for you!!

You see people might argue that the Wii, DS and PSP are still outselling PS3. Well I don't care. I care that it beats the 360 because I'm getting sick of all the 360 fanboys continually shouting about how better their system is and how the PS3 is dead already. Well this goes to show that it's not dead, it's alive and it's growing. So to all 360 fanboys...... **** you!! The PS3 has virtually no games and it's still beating the 360!! That's something to be proud of in my book. But note that Wii sales are continually falling.

It had better do, it's my only games console and it cost me a lot of money. If you include the 32 inch HD TV I bought solely for PS3 use then the total comes to over £1200.

I know plasma has better update speeds and the colour definition is usually better but LCD is closing that gap pretty rapidly. Value for money wise I don't think anything can come close to LCD and they are also less power hungry than plasma tv's. My personal opinion is this: If money isn't too much of an issue I'd go for a plasma but if funds are more tight then you can get a really good quality LCD TV fairly cheaply, just make sure you go for one with a refresh rate of 8ms or lower. Mine is a 32 inch Panasonic Viera LCD HDTV with a refresh rate of 8ms.
EDIT: Older plasma TV's tended to suffer from pretty bad burn in's on static images and weren't really suitable for gaming purposes whereas LCD tv's are seemingly a bit more robust.

Yeah I don't know how relevant this is to newer models but on older plasma screens you needed to get them 're-gassed' or something about every 5 years or so. I'm uncertain if this still applies to more recent plasma screens but I think it does.
