read the manual,you first have to pair it with a code to the ps3 for it to work.the ps3 wont just pick it up even if its on,on mine the first time i used it i held a button until it flashed a light then scanned and got it,its a different make,but should work the same.OH and those mobile phone headsets dont work!!
