PS3 to be region free?
Was gonna post this in the news forum, but i guess its just a rumour at present.

According to a Resistance: Fall Of Man video interview on GameVideos the sound manager of the game speaks about multiple language versions of the game. They go on to say as far as they know, you can put any region disc in any system and have it run.

IGN agrees: IGN: GDC 06: Region-free PS3

Good decision on Sony's part. With previous consoles they unfairly penalised import buyers with region lockouts, which did precisely nothing to stop piracy anyway.

Sovieto is on a distinguished road
Well 50gb or so on Blu-Ray discs, I'm not suprised, that will really bring costs down. (Porting, Remaking, Blah)

They did it with PSP so why can't they do it now. betcha Wii or 360 doesn't have anything like that.
