OK so I go to Wal-mart to see the PS3 demo......IF I WANTED TO PLAY A GAME WITH GRAPHICS THAT LOOKS WORSE THAN THE PS2 I WOULD PLAY MY PSX! So I'm envited to go to a friends house for a LAN party. Guess what? He's got a PS3. What's the first thing I see....THE F'ing XBOX360 HAS BETTER GRAPHICS THAN THAT THING. So to the point. Was my first PS3 experience a bad one and a sign of bad things to come or was I just being picky (if you choose the after I'll send you to damnation)

. To be honest I'd rather have a Wii and throw the controller at my TV than get a PS3.

What whats yous's opinion?

I guess you can look at it as The 360 has had a fair amount of time to develop there games, and work out how the system works, its been out a year or so. Where as the PS3 has just been released and the developers havent had much time to get the power out of it. Once they work out the in's and out's of it, the games should start to look sweet.

Seen Battlefield: Bad Company lately?? Looks better than 360 at the same stage in life. And i believe that the PS3 Rainbow 6 has had consistantly better graphics than the 360 version. GT-HD was at 10-20% of the target renders. The PS3 has only just come out and you are comparing it to a console which has had ample time to get to the top. PS3 can only get better.

The Playstation 3 has only been out a little more than a month. So everyone with videogame common sense knows that when a Next Gen system is released its launch games do not take full advantage of the the systems graphical powers. I dont know were you played a Playstation 3 at but i play mines on a 42inch Sony Hdtv in true 1080p display and i think it looks great and only going to get better! Do you remember the xbox 360's launch lineup? I dont even need to explain! Honestly i think for 1. You dissing the Ps3 probably cause you cant afford one 2. You probably cant afford a Hdtv or 3. When you were a baby your mom dropped you on your head and you lost that thing in your head called common sense!

ps3 has well better graphics than 360 i got 360 only gd thing is gears of ware but when MGS4 Tekken 6 Final Fantasy 13 come out i b like xbox 360 whats that thing

I'm sorry but how can u guys dis the Xbox 360 of PS3. I'm a gamer and anyone into this market should know that the PS3 will be better at some things and XBOX at other's.

you can not say graphics are rubbish on XBOX 360 considering it is now 1080p true HD because that is down to developers the only positive thing for PS3 over it is a faster processor which makes absolutely no difference. and anyway have u looked at the games to come over the next year............ i'm sorry BIOSHOCK exclusice HALO 3, HUXLEY, CRACKDOWN, FORZA 2, FABLE 2 MASS EFFECT and many many many more. ALL these games graphics piss on anything i have seen coming out for the PS3 so far but as said before it is early stages and you do not know wot the future holds so stop dissing other consoles because your all one minded cos if u were true gamers you would conpare one to the other and write it of because i play for the games.

P.S. the XBOX LIVE SERVICE so badly whoops PS3's which is a sham

First of all Fu@k 360 and all its fans it got, Its games suck and Microsofts plan is a plot, Waist your money on a system with no hd, 200 dollars it will set you back, then your ass should have got a ps3! One year two months for the 360, one month couple days for the ps3, is that enough time for it to compete! You got your live and i aint gona lie, but playstations free and only going to get better see!

Out the box 360 sucks, No wifi, no hd, and damn not even hdmi! You want that then damn you going to pay extra! Remember Perfect dark zero, must i bring it up, story mode sucked and graphics were horrible. Seen Resistance hooked up via hdmi story mode beats ass and 40 player mulitiplayer always last.

"Hey im going to take my 360 to my friends house, Hey john ill grab the 360 and you grab the big @ss power brick and dont drop it cause it will break your toe!" lol

Gears of war was all hype and by the time halo 3 comes out, ps3 true power will be out!

So for all you 360 fans heres a word of advice" Remove Bill Gates leash from around your neck and take your mouth off his di@k!"

Microsucks and Nintendo Fags fans go to another forum because as long as im on ps3chat.com Ima make sure ps3 name last!!!!!!

Honestly I could give a rats @ss if Sony had problems with the blueray because hey dumb @ss the PS3's launch lineup made 360's look like garbage! And hell yeah I spent over $700 for my PS3 and games and I still aint broke, not to mention my $2000 plasma screen dumb @ss. Money aint a object over this way dumb @ss, It aint my fault you play your Xbox 1.5 on a 15 inch black and white tv. Hahahaha Wow! Yeah It didnt come with hdmi cables, but the xbox 1.5 didnt either and they wansn't available at your dumb launch either!

since when is a PS3 $700???? I got mine for $600 (60GB) unless you are including games and the extras but that was never stated, you are just a microsoft fan boy and you think xbox is so awesome, but in reality the PS3 is better, it puts the xbox to shame, xbox doesn't even compare to a PS3, even the Wii owns the 360.

I must admit ps3's grapics have much room for improvment,but under 2 months on the market ' i mean -look at some of the very 1st ps2 games ,and then look at god of war or FFXII , so it's all up from here!!!,anyways I have read enough comments from developers about the work involved in programing code for the CELL , it's kinda like a guy that's worked on nothing but chevy's his whole life , then someone comes along and says here work on my lotus or rolls royce !!, but the main issue I would like to see sony address SOON <----- is some frame rates which should be able to be fixed through firmware update hopefully , and hte ps2 jaggies nightmare , i'm not gonna bash M$ or defend sony cause i'm a gamer <---- but if sides MUST be taken sony's got my support all the way. Bill Gates has pissed me off too many times!

The question is, whether Red Rocket was viewing one console on a HDTV and the other on a standard TV?? Graphics power is nothing without a TV that can show it.
