Bluetooth problem

I just hooked up my Nokia bluetooth device and registered it in the settings on the PS3. There is an option to tell it which input and output device to use for chats and gaming and it lets me change it to the Nokia device but i CAN'T hit the X to enter it in, it won't let me. Any suggestions, i don't know what i need to do to be able to use my bluetooth to talk to people while i'm playing. I notice in the lobby all the users have a green check under the headset, bur mine doesn't show. HELP, please!

Hey, i am having similar problems with my bluetooth headset. I figured out if you go to the accessories screen and go to headset settings( where it shows your device, but won't let you hit X) choose the device, then hit the answer call button on the Bluetooth. This will Make Contact and allow you to set the device. I have the settings set for my device and it detects it but it doesnt work online. Let me know if this helps i think my bluetooth might be broken?

yeah you have to re-activate headset while on that screen to send out signal, then ps3 will find it and allow you to hit x

Press Connect to bluetooth on that screen with the input.. output..
