Ok, so is this version goin got be relased officially? I don't the rubbish 40 gig, it's missing so many things!

The 80gig has been out since August I think. I have one. It's exactly the same as the 60gig except the 20 extra gigs and less BC. But if you don't care about BC get the 80gig.

Latest rumours suggest BestBuy are gonna be pulling the 80gb model from sale at the end of this month, leaving them to sell purely the 40gb model.

Why would the pull the 80 Gig? I got it...I like it a lot...except for when my grandma's cats step on it. Then I get mad because they are sick and I don't want my PS3 to get a cold! (Kidding, of course...)

anything under 60 GB don't have backward compatibility, meaning you can't play ps2 games on them.

I'm from the US and thats just about all i see in GameStop is 40gb and 80gb my friend asked the man at GameStop if they had a 60gb and he said no, and if they did he would buy it. (sucks for my friend i have my 60gb and I love it)
