Hey Again I Have A 40 Gig Ps3 And My Friends Got This Good Ps2 Game And I Want To Play It. I Was Wondering Is There Any Way U Can Make The PS3 40 Gig Work PS2 Games?

Just whack them in and away it goes - it wont play every PS2 game but a large chunk of them.
GOW2 is the greatest PS2 game ever - play that. Forever. Until DMC4 comes out.

It says on the side of the box that my ps3 (yes i still have it) that it is not backward compatable, only the 60 & 80gb versions

I think you can buy and adaptor or something that will allow 40 gigs to play ps2 games

^^^I doubt it because it's most likely the software on the PS3 that enables Backwards Compatibility, not hardware.

No, I'm almost positive you can't play any PS2 games on the 40Gig.
